As the Advent season comes to an end, I am coming more to realize and accept that this time next year, I will have already been in Peru for about 4 months. I still do not know when exactly I will be leaving but it will be sometime in August. For those of you who do not know, I will be serving as a Catholic missionary in Peru for 14 months with an organization called Heart's Home. I encourage you to follow the link at the bottom of the page to find out more information about the organization and providing sponsorship for me while on mission.
I hope to update this as often as I can, however, there is no guarantee that I will have internet very often. This will serve as a deeper involvement of my sponsors in my mission aside from the letter I will send them every other month. It will also keep everyone updated on my pre-mission adventure which will be exciting I'm sure. I'll be preparing for mission while finishing up my last semester at The University of Tulsa pursuing a degree in Exercise and Sports Science, studying for the GRE, working, and brushing up on that Spanish!
